Our Architects, Engineers, Material Scientists, and Construction Managers work together to provide a wide range of services in the support of a community’s capital project. Helping the community work through discovery, confirmation, budgeting, and planning to acceptance and completion. BES provides condition assessments, recommendations and options, budgeting and planning, modeling, presentations, support in the bidding process, contractor price auditing and administration, construction observation, and field testing as well as management of construction delivery.

Stonington Commons

Stonington, CT

An upscale condominium building located on the coast, the associates at BES completed the building enclosure investigation, expert report, cost estimation for repairs, and litigation support services. Within a separate phase, BES was contracted for enclosure design services for the repairs completed.


Wellington Crossing

Waltham, MA

A 6-building, 4-story apartment complex comprised of 19 townhouses and 99 garden-style units located in Waltham, MA.

BES is providing forensic investi­gation, repair design, contractor price verification, and construction quality control services for this multi-phased renovation. Extensive roof and wall system upgrades have been implemented to address construction deficiencies and building enclosure system failures.


Brookline, MA

A gated, luxury condominium community highlighting the historic Longyear mansion that is perched on one of the highest points in Brookline, overlooking the Boston skyline.

The project scope included removal and replacement of the full exterior EIFS wall cladding, windows, doors, and copper cornice detail. BES provided Owner’s Project Management (OPM) services for a penthouse unit owner that included window selection, EIFS design peer review, bidding, scheduling, construction oversight, quality control, weekly reporting, and payment requisition approval. Additionally, BES coordinated onsite quality assurance through mockup approvals as well as ASTM/AAMA water testing at newly installed door and window units. Interior protection of furniture and finishes, logistics and sequencing were coordinated with unit owners throughout the duration of construction.
